Natural Remedies for Eye Disorders

As we get older, our eyes can have problems that affect how well we see. There are many natural remedies that can help improve eye health. Here are some of the best ones:

Silver Water

Silver Water, or colloidal silver, can help treat eye infections like pink eye and sties. Here’s how we use it:

  • Wayne Rowland puts a couple of drops in each infected eye every hour
  • For serious infections with discharge, he uses a shot glass filled with Silver Water to wash the eye
  • Use fresh Silver Water for the other eye.
  • Add two or three drops to the eye and repeat three to four times a day.

We clean the eye often, about every 20 minutes at first, to remove the infection.

Calendula Tea

Calendula tea helps with eye conditions, like itchy or sore eyes due to allergies. Calendula is great for healing and soothing.

  • Steep one to two teaspoons of dried calendula flowers in boiling water for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool and store the tea in the fridge for up to three days.\
  • Use a cotton ball to apply the tea to your eye 6 times a day, then twice a day for maintenance

Nascent Iodine

Nascent iodine can be taken by mouth to help treat eye conditions. Start with 1 drop of iodine in 2 ounces of water and slowly increase to four drops.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil can soothe dry eyes and help you sleep better.

  • Put two to three drops of unrefined coconut oil in the affected eye.
  • Or soak a cotton ball in the oil and place it in your closed eyelids for 10 to 15 minutes.

Calcarea Fluorica

To treat eye problems, take one pill or five drops of Calcarea fluorica every few minutes to every four hours, depending on the severity of the symptoms. Once you notice improvement, stop taking it unless symptoms return.

If one is becoming aware of potential parasitic infestations, seeking a comprehensive cleanse and deworming may offer substantial relief or remission of visual diseases. If so, one will also have the consequence of relief from other symptoms that may also be associated with parasites, including parasitic worms.

Natural remedies can improve eye health, but it’s important to check with a natural healthcare provider before trying anything new, especially if you have medical conditions or take other medications. Regular eye exams are key to catching problems early.
